❷ Check for Injuries
- If there are injured persons, call emergency services immediately
Do not leave the scene and remain calm.

The same procedure is required regardless of severity.

Even in minor or property-only accidents,
reporting is required.

insurance and compensation will not apply.
Even in the case of minor contact or property damage accidents, you must contact the police and the rental car company.
Even if you have reached an agreement with the other party, you must always call the police.
Contacting the Rental Car Company
After contacting the police, please contact the rental car company.
If you violate the rules, penalties (fines and demerit points) will be imposed. If you cause an accident, you may face heavier penalties (imprisonment or fines), and your license may be suspended.

Importance of the Accident Certificate
The accident certificate is required
for insurance and compensation procedures.
If the accident has not been reported to the police, a traffic accident certificate will not be issued.
We are unable to issue traffic accident certificates retroactively.
Please handle this matter yourself.
Without the certificate,
compensation may not be granted.
If you are insured by another company, request the accident certificate at the counter.
Always ensure police attendance.
What You Must Not Do
Never engage in
the following actions.
These may lead to serious problems.
Leaving without contacting police
Settling privately with the other party
Making false statements
Not contacting the rental company
