About Child Seats
Important Notice for Customers Traveling with Young Children
Under Japanese road traffic law, children under 6 years old must use a child seat.
Please use an appropriate child seat suitable for your child's age and size.
Child seats can be selected as an extra when booking via our official website.
How to Install Child Seats
Seatbelt Installation Type
- Place the seat on the rear seat
- Thread the seatbelt through the seat
- Tighten securely
- Check that it does not move
- Seat the child and adjust harness
ISOFIX Installation Type
- Check ISOFIX anchor points
- Insert connectors
- Push until it clicks
- Secure top tether or support leg
- Confirm secure installation
Installation Precautions
- Always install in the rear seat (front passenger seat is generally prohibited).
- Always install baby seats in a rear-facing position.
- After installation, move it forward/backward and side to side to ensure it is securely fixed.
- Adjust the harness so that there is space for two fingers.
- If you are unsure, please ask a staff member.
- Child seats cannot be installed in vans or trucks. Please select a passenger car type.
- Installation must be done by the customer. Staff may assist, but final confirmation is the customer's responsibility.

When accessing the third row, the second-row seat must be folded forward. Therefore, for safety reasons, only one child seat can be installed in the second row.

※1 If two child seats are installed in a 7-seater Sienta, the second-row sliding mechanism cannot be used and access to the third row will be blocked, making the third-row seats unusable.
If you need to use the third row, please limit child seat usage to one unit.
※2 If installing two child seats in an 8-seater and using the third row, the support leg may need adjustment for boarding and exiting.
